Meet Jesus' Sacrifice
Would Jesus go to through all the suffering of the cross If
God's promises were a lie?
Do we truly believe The entire Bible is the infallible word of
God When we discount its application To the modern day church?
When Jesus said we could do the works He'd done And even more,
Did He really mean just some of them?
When authority gets heart service, But God gets lip service,
Have leaders become our gods?
Jesus respected authority. But, who did He bow to?

A Man of His Word
Suppose we make a promise that seems fully reasonable. Though
later, circumstances arise in which we have to neglect someone
in need in order to fulfill that promise.
Maybe a person came to visit and was just leaving in time to
fulfill the original promise, but they slip and fall ... being
injured and in need of medical attention. Do we leave the
injured person unattended because we made a promise? Of course
not.

C.S. Lewis (1898-1963) is undoubtedly the most widely read and
best known Christian author of the Twentieth Century. Several
years ago a movie entitled, Shadowlands, starring Anthony
Hopkins was produced about the life of Lewis. It's now on video
and well worth the time for viewing. One thing remarkable about
Lewis' writing ability was his range. He could write books to
stump the most hardened agnostic, but he could also write

Amazing Grace
Amazing Grace Matthew 27:46-7:7 What is Amazing Grace, where
does it come from and how do we receive? . Appropriately, the
free unmerited love and favor of God, the spring and source of
all the benefits men receive from him. Nothing compares to the
promise I have in you. The Joy of the Lord is my strength,
mainstay and Hope, My Piece, Guidance and Charity Free and
unmerited Love. These are the words that describe grace, but
